Dr. Alon Goshen-Gottstein is the founder and director of the Elijah Interfaith Institute. He is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading figures in interreligious dialogue, specializing in bridging the theological and academic dimension with a variety of practical initiatives, especially involving world religious leadership.

I am a specialist in applied economics in the areas of budgeting, evaluations, social policy and labour market issues in over 30 developed and developing countries with over 30 years’ experience in LAC and North America, Africa, CEE, CIS, Middle East, Far East and EU countries. I have been economic adviser for the UN on three occasions concentrating on women´s economic and social rights. Since the end of 2002, as founding partner of Almenara Estudios Económicos y Sociales, S.L., I was senior researcher for various reports for the European Parliament and European Commission; and also an international consultant for various UN agencies. I have been Expert for Spain (2003-2008) in the 'Group of non-governmental experts in the fight against poverty and social exclusion' for the European Commission; EU senior gender expert (2009-2011) in the Network of Socio Economic experts in the Discrimination Field; Member of the Scientific Board of External Evaluators of the GENISLAB project (2012-2015), a project on gender budgeting applied in public universities; Expert for Spain in the European Social Fund evaluation network (2011-2012); Skillsnet expert (expert on labour market statistics and analysis of skills and occupations, CEDEFOP (2008-2010).Since 2015 I have returned to consulting for UN Agencies and for the European Institute for Gender Equality. I have also taken courses on business and human rights and on data science. My main interests are in gender equality, future of work, applied data science and researching the damage of multi level marketing firms to consumers, in particular women.

Andrea Gómez (CMO). She has a strong experience in creativity/design, marketing and communication. She holds a Master in research & dissemination of the Cultural Heritage and a PhD in Communication / Marketing about Smart Destinations, which verses about the use of ICTs for the dissemination and protection of the cultural heritage based on the needs of the new generations as Millennials, Z and Hashtags. Andrea works actively in product/service development, working on solutions that are focused on the final users (citizens & visitors) with methodologies as Design Thinking & co-creation, developing solutions that are directly based on the social & cultural needs. /// Antonio J. Jara (CEO), founder of HOP Ubiquitous S.L. (www.hopu.eu), and chair of Data Quality and IoT in IEEE. He did his PhD (Cum Laude) at the University of Murcia (UMU), Spain. These PhD results present a novel way to connect objects to Internet-enabled platforms in an easy, secure and scalable way. He also carried out a MBA and entrepreneurship formation in the ENAE business school and UCAM (2012). He received entrepreneurship awards from ENAE (sponsored by SabadellCAM financial services), emprendeGo (sponsored by Spanish government), IPSO Alliance Award (Sponsored by Google) for its disruptive innovation in the IoT, selected and mentored by the acceleration program FIWARE. Antonio Jara as part of HOPU is focused on the Smart Cities market with solutions for citizens engagements and environmental monitoring (air quality sensors). Antonio Jara has also participated in over 100 international events about Internet of Things as Speaker, over 100 international publications / papers (~5000 citations and impact factor h=37), he holds several patents in the IoT domain and finally he has advised in the IoT domain to companies such as Microsoft and Fujitsu.

Silvana is the President and Founder of Women Political Leaders (WPL), the worldwide network of women Politicians. WPL is an independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit foundation that aims to increase both the number and influence of women in political leadership. Silvana served as Vice-President of the European Parliament (2009-2011) and Member of the European Parliament (2004-2014). Before her time in politics, she founded and ran a public affairs consultancy in Brussels, which later merged with a larger US firm. She also worked as Senior Special Advisor for EY and as Senior Policy Advisor for GPLUS Europe. In addition to her work for WPL, Silvana serves on the board of the Council of Women World Leaders, the network of female Presidents and Prime Ministers. She is also a member of the European Leadership Network (ELN), a Board Director of the Social Progress Imperative and member of the Global Advisory Network of Apolitical Academy Global. Since 2016, Silvana has been representing the European Union in the Executive Committee of W20, an official engagement group of the G20. In 2018 and 2019, she was ranked as one of the 100 most influential persons in gender equality by Apolitical. Silvana is a Young Global Leader Alumni of the World Economic Forum. She lives in Brussels, Belgium with her three kids and their Irish father.

Jacques van den Broek is the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Randstad, the global leader in HR services industry. After graduating in law, Jacques held a management position with an international trading company until he joined Randstad as a branch manager. Appointments followed as Regional Director in the Netherlands and, subsequently, as Marketing Director Randstad Europe. In 2002, he moved to Capac Inhouse Services as Managing Director, also taking on responsibility for Randstad in Denmark and Switzerland. Jacques van den Broek is responsible for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal, as well as Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay). In addition, he is responsible for Business Concept Development and Public Affairs.

Kyoko Ozawa is 18 years old. Born in Japan, she lived in the US for two years and now makes her home in Tokyo, Japan. In 2019, she served as the first ever Chief Future Officer for Euglena, a sustainable bio venture company. She received the silver prize in the 2019 junior contest from the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology and Agrochemistry and has been a guest columnist for ATOMOΣ, journal of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan. At her school, she has been an active volunteer and has served as the director of its sports festival. Ms. Ozawa will be starting university in April 2021 and plans to study sustainability in economic fields.

Bradley Schurman is Founder and CEO of The Super Age – a global strategic research and advisory firm helping public and private organizations understand the challenges and harness the opportunities of demographic change, with a focus on population aging. The Super Age works to ensure that these subjects are considered across organizational strategies from human resources, marketing and communication, public policies, and product and service design. Schurman is also the author of the forthcoming book, The Super Age: How Longer Lifespans Are Changing Everything We Know About Work, Life and Learning, which will examine how this shift is driving social and economic change around the world. It will be published by HarperCollins. Prior to launching his company and authoring the book, Schurman was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of EconomyFour, where he led business development in Asia and Europe. He also served at AARP – the world’s largest organization dedicated to improving the lives of older people – where he was Director of Global Partnerships and Engagements. Schurman was instrumental in securing the topics of aging and longevity as focus areas at both the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and World Economic Forum (WEF). He was also responsible for visioning and executing the Aging Readiness and Competitiveness Report – a groundbreaking collaborative research project between AARP and Foreign Policy Group. Schurman has been featured on NBC's TODAY Show and quoted in the New York Times, HuffingtonPost, and USA Today, as well as in local and national media outlets around the world. He speaks regularly at thought leader forums, and has advised national governments and major businesses on their longevity strategies.

Born in Belgium, Jacques Vandenschrik obtained a Master’s Degree in Hospital Sciences from Université Libre de Bruxelles. He started his career in Somalia working for the European Development Fund, he worked at a local University Clinic in Belgium, and then he led the HR department of a large industrial group in South Africa. He finally founded his own business specialized in antiseptics. During the 25 years of his stay in South Africa, he was the Honorary Consul of Belgium for the Eastern Cape. In 2007 he turned back to Belgium where he took the helm of a local Food Bank and assumed the Vice-presidency of the Fédération Belge des Banques Alimentaires. In 2015 he became member of the Board of Directors of the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA). Elected in May 2018, he is the current President of FEBA.

Denis Machuel became Chief Executive Officer of Sodexo in January 2018. His vision is aligned with that of Sodexo’s founder, Pierre Bellon; growth, intrapreneurship and humanity remain the core principles that guide our company’s future and unite our employees. Denis joined the company in 2007. He was appointed CEO of Sodexo Benefits & Rewards worldwide in 2012. His scope was broadened to include a new cross-functional role, he became Sodexo’s first Chief Digital Officer in 2015. In 2016, he then also took on the additional role of CEO of Personal and Home Services. Denis ensures that Sodexo’s development supports economic growth that is based on the sustainable use of resources and valuing our shared humanity. He is personally invested in Sodexo’s efforts to fight against food waste and combat social and economic inequality. He joined the G7 Business for Inclusive Growth (B4IG) coalition in 2019 and is a member of the multistakeholder coalition dedicated to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal on food waste (Champions 12.3).

Cary Funk is director of science and society research at Pew Research Center, where she leads the Center’s efforts to understand the implications of science for society. The Center studies the social, ethical and policy implications of scientific developments in areas such as climate and energy, emerging issues in genetic engineering, and food and space science. She has authored or co-authored a number of reports focused on public trust in science, scientific experts and science news and information. Funk has broad expertise in public opinion research and has specialized in public understanding of science issues for nearly two decades. Prior to joining Pew Research Center, she directed the Virginia Commonwealth University Life Sciences Surveys, national surveys on science and biotechnology. Funk began her career at CBS News in New York working on preelection polling and analysis of exit polls. She earned a doctorate and a master’s in social psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

John Elkington is Co-founder & Chief Pollinator at Volans (2008- ), Co-founder and former Chairman of SustainAbility (1987-2008), Co-founder of CounterCurrent (1983- ), and Co-founder and former Managing Director of Environmental Data Services (1978-1983). Way back in 2004, BusinessWeek described him as “a dean of the corporate responsibility movement for three decades.” He has addressed over 1,000 conferences. He was a Faculty member of the World Economic Forum from 2002-2008. He has served on over 70 boards and advisory boards. His 20th book was published in April: Green Swans: The Coming Boom In Regenerative Capitalism (Fast Company Press).

John Damonti is the President of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation and the Patient Assistance Foundation funded by the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, a global bio-pharmaceutical Company. John has more than 30 years of experience working in the areas of health policy, government affairs and social responsibility. The mission of the BMS Foundation is to seek innovative approaches to reducing health disparities by strengthening community-based healthcare worker capacity, medical care and community-based supportive services, and by mobilizing communities to fight disease. John began his career as Manager of Community and Government Relations for Mutual of New York. He was also Director of the Primerica Foundation (now part of Citigroup) and before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb served as Director of State Government Relations for Ciba-Geigy Corporation (now Novartis). In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is a member of the Board of the New Academy of Medicine where he is also a Fellow and the advisory boards of Seed of Africa and NOMI Network. John received his Master’s in Social Work Policy from Fordham University and has also been awarded honorary doctorate degrees from Fordham University and the Baylor College of Medicine.

John Hecklinger leads Global Fund for Children’s work to help children and youth worldwide reach their full potential and advance their rights. John joined GFC in 2017 after more than two decades of experience in global philanthropy and the private sector. Prior to joining GFC, John served in a series of roles at GlobalGiving, driving the growth of the world’s first crowdfunding marketplace for global causes. Long ago, he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, teaching at the University of Bangui, Central African Republic.
