About Valéria Faure-Muntian

Born September 2, 1984 in Kilia, Ukraine, I arrived in France in 1998. After my baccalaureate, I obtained a BTS in banking and insurance in 2007 after studying at the faculty of law. The last position I held before my election was that of Insurance Account Manager. I am now married and a mother. In 2016, I decided to get involved alongside Emmanuel Macron; I therefore join En Marche! I saw in him a candidate capable of reforming France. I am convinced by the "Liberate and Protect" approach, which I share with the President of the Republic. Feminist, deeply patriotic and republican, I am a European at heart. First co-animator of the movement in Sorbiers (Loire), I quickly joined the departmental committee and took charge of the electoral mobilization. I respond to the call for candidacies launched by our new President of the Republic for the legislative elections in order to give him a majority in the National Assembly. On June 21, 2017, I was officially elected as a member of the third district of the Loire. Vice-president of the Committee on Economic Affairs and member of the inter-parliamentary group OPECST, I also have the chance to chair the France-Ukraine parliamentary friendship group. Finally, I participate in the work of the Digital Ethics Pilot Committee launched by the National Consultative Ethics Committee. Now, I am a member of the Financial Committee.
