Silja Markkula is the President of the European Youth Forum, the largest platform of youth organisations in Europe, representing millions of young people. For the past decade, Silja has engaged in various youth organisations to advance the rights of young people in the EU, Council of Europe and the UN. She has a background in the Finnish National Youth Council Allianssi and the World Organisation of the Scout Movement.
