Richard is the Head of Communications at Migration Policy Group (MPG). He manages and develops MPG’s communication strategy and actions, including social media and media relations. He also represents MPG in the EU NGO Platform on Asylum and Migration (EPAM) and coordinates the Welcoming Europe Alliance.

Richard has a Ph.D. in political sociology (with a thesis about ‘migrant entrepreneurship’) from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Master’s Degree in International Relations. Prior to joining MPG, Richard held communication roles with Metropolis International and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (Poland). He was also the founder and CEO of an international digital agency with employees and clients worldwide.
