Till January 2015, I have worked as a Social Worker at the National Health Operations Center, Greek Ministry of Health. In 2014 I have accomplished my MSc studies in Health Economics & Management. At the moment I'm enrolling my PhD on Thermal, Wellness Tourism and Rehabilitation aspiring to elaborate on the barriers and perspectives regarding the relevant industry in Fthiotida Regional Unity. 

Prior to that I have worked as a Social Worker at the European Cultural & Research Center of Athens in collaboration with Municipalities of Zografos and Kessariani, while in the past I have worked either as a Social Worker, or as an Administrative officer in several private Healthcare Units/Long term care units, such as Polyclinic Group, etc.

As of 2012 and according to a Ministerial mandate I was appointed as a Board Member of Interconnected General Hospitals of Lamia - Amfissa - Karpenisi, keeping this position for approximately one and a half year.

As of October 2016 till November 2019 I have been appointed by the Minister of Labor, Social Insurance & Social Solidarity as the Head of the Board of Directors at the Social Welfare Center of the Region of Central Greece (Public Law Legal Entity - Governmental Organisation) which is the main regional-level social care provision services cluster, trying to contribute to the implementation of the Greek Government's strategic plan on social care, foster care, "DI", family care and people with special needs protection.

In parrallel, between the the same period I have been an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of the first National Adoption & Foster-care Council in accordance to the relevant Ministerial Desicion.

I have also been an elected Member of the BoD at the Hellenic Healthcare Services Association, carrying duties of the Chief Communications Officer, as of 2017 I am a Member of the European Commission’s SCHEER Committee on Rapid Risk Assessment of Healthcare and Environmental Risks, participating in annual in person one-day/two-day external experts' meetings with focus on public health risks assessment, while as of November 2021 till June 2022 one of the 60 delegates of the European Health Parliament's 7th Edition working as a Member of the Sustainable Health Systems Commitee.

Finally, my current professional capacity is linked to the Hellenic Parliament's function, as I'm an MP's Scientific Associate, providing assistance regarding daily institutional obligations, parliamentary control and cognate activities.

Mr. Roig is founder and member of the board of numerous nonprofits and think tanks on Public Diplomacy, Innovation Policy, AI Governance, and Science Advice. He serves as president of the Catalan Institute of China; editorial board member of the publication El Món De Demà; member of the Council of Catalonia Abroad, the advisory body on foreign affairs and diaspora diplomacy of the Government of Catalonia; member of the advisory board of Digital Future Society, think tank supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of the Government of Spain focused on the governance of emerging digital technologies; member of the International Network for Government Science Advice of the International Science Council (ISC); and board member of the Space and Aerospace Commission of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a master’s in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an MBA from EM Normandie Business School, a Postgraduate degree in Diplomacy from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and Executive Education in Leadership and Public Administration by ESADE and IESE.

He is involved in multi-focal projects and programs taking care of research, development, entrepreneurship, and public policy for sustainable development and community-based ecological conservation and market-led climate-smart agriculture in line with water-energy-food security nexus throughout Pakistan. He has also been running the most sustainable entrepreneurship-based innovative programs for resource-poor farmers with the aims of poverty alleviation in Sindh and Punjab since 1991 to date. He has also been running collaborative capacity-building projects in partnership with UNDP, AKRSP, Kuchlak Welfare Society (KWS), Balochistan, and the corporate sector by managing multi-stakeholders partnership involving communities, NGOs, academia, government, and the private sector organizations. Over the span of 2 decades, he has successfully completed about 100 development projects in almost all geographical areas of Pakistan.

Currently, Mr. Qureshi is one of the passionate Allies / Members of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism with a commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable future. Since 1998, he is also one of the dynamic Fellows of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) and Convener Executive Committee of Islamabad LEAD-Club (ILC) which is one of the local chapters of LEAD representing fellows from about 75 development organizations in the capital city. He possesses in-depth skills in project development, resource mobilization, and business plan development. Moreover, he has also been serving on the Board of some development organizations.

He has managed of being physically fit, socially tolerant, and spiritually composed with the remarkable leadership skills to accept challenges, create change, bring people together, develop innovative approaches, and set off the team spirit among his cohorts. Dr. Mohamed Al-Tawabti participated in youth forums and international, Arab and local meetings and obtained several memberships, most notably: Active participation in the high-level political forum on sustainable development at the United Nations.
