Joseph F. Coughlin, best known as “Dr. Joe,” is founder and Director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology AgeLab. Researcher, teacher & advisor – his work explores how global demographics, technology and changing behaviors are transforming business & society. He teaches in MIT’s Department of Urban Studies & Planning. Coughlin has served on advisory committees for the White House, World Economic Forum, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development. He routinely works with major firms across industries worldwide and speaks before audiences from 25 to 25,000. He was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as inventing the future of retirement and one of “100 Most Creative in Business” by Fast Company Magazine.
