Rihards Kols is a Member of the Parliament of the Saeima (the Parliament) of the Republic of Latvia since his re-election in 2018. R.Kols serves as the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Saeima and as the Representative of the Saeima to the OECD. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the political party ‘’National Alliance’’ and is a Millennium Fellow at Atlantic Council.
Jacques Vandenschrik

President, European Food Banks Federation

Born in Belgium, Jacques Vandenschrik obtained a Master’s Degree in Hospital Sciences from Université Libre de Bruxelles. He started his career in Somalia working for the European Development Fund, he worked at a local University Clinic in Belgium, and then he led the HR department of a large industrial group in South Africa. He finally founded his own business specialized in antiseptics. During the 25 years of his stay in South Africa, he was the Honorary Consul of Belgium for the Eastern Cape. In 2007 he turned back to Belgium where he took the helm of a local Food Bank and assumed the Vice-presidency of the Fédération Belge des Banques Alimentaires. In 2015 he became member of the Board of Directors of the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA). Elected in May 2018, he is the current President of FEBA.
Carlos Moreno

Researcher of international renown, Carlos Moreno is Scientific director of the Chair "Entrepreneurship – Territory – Innovation", Panthéon Sorbonne University – IAE Paris (France). Carlos Moreno earned recognition as a scientist with an innovative mind, pioneer works and is unique approach on urban issues. He is also a scientific advisor of national and international figures of the highest level, including the Mayor of Paris Smart City special Envoy. He works at the heart of issues of international significance as a result of his research, ringing an innovative perspective on urban issues and offering solutions to the issues faced by the cities, metropolises and territories during the 21st century. Some of his concepts traveled the world: the Human Smart City, the 15mn City, the Territory of 30mn. Carlos Moreno received the Foresight Medal by the French Academy of Architecture (2019). Ali Kooli

Minister of Economy, Finance and Investment, Republic of Tunisia

Ali Kooli, Ministre Tunisien de l’Economie, des Finances et de soutien à l’Investissement. Mr Kooli est marié et père de deux enfants, il dispose d’une expérience de 33 ans dans le domaine financier et bancaire au sein de plusieurs institutions financières à Singapour, au Japon, en Jordanie, en France et en Tunisie. Il a occupé plusieurs postes à l’Union de banques arabes et françaises « UBAF » (filiale de crédit lyonnais). Il a occupé, aussi, le poste de directeur adjoint de l’UBAF Japon et de responsable de développement à la société générale. Il a été successivement directeur général adjoint puis directeur général de l’UIB en Tunisie. Il a de même occupé le poste de directeur Général de Bank ABC Tunisie et président du conseil d’administration de l’Arab leasing Corporation en Algérie. Mr. Kooli est titulaire d’un diplôme des études préparatoires de l’Institut des hautes études commerciales de Nice (France) et d’un diplôme de master en management de l’école supérieure de Management de Lyon.

Dame Sally Davies

UK Special Envoy on Antimicrobial Resistance, UK Government

Dame Sally Davies was appointed as the UK Government’s Special Envoy on AMR in 2019. She is also the 40th Master of Trinity College, Cambridge University. Dame Sally was the Chief Medical Officer for England and Senior Medical Advisor to the UK Government from 2011-2019. She has become a leading figure in global health including serving as a member of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Executive Board 2014-2016 and as co-convener of the United Nations Inter-Agency Co-ordination Group (IACG) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) reporting in 2019. In the 2020 New Year Honours, Dame Sally became the second woman (and the first outside the Royal family) to be appointed Dame Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath (GCB) for services to public health and research, having received her DBE in 2009.

Gabriela Ramos

Assistant Director General on Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO & former OECD Chief of Staff, OECD

Gabriela Ramos is Assistant Director General on Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO. Previously, she served as OECD Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G20 and in this capacity supported the Secretary General’s strategic leadership and ensured that the Organisation delivered on its mandates. She was responsible for the contributions of the OECD to the global agenda, including to the G20, G7, and APEC. She also oversaw the Global Relations Secretariat, which works with over 100 countries around the world. Her work as Sherpa contributed to the Leaders’ commitment to the G20 Brisbane gender target in 2014 and the creation of the W20. She has been key in delivering major OECD contributions and international standards to this agenda, including on tax transparency, artificial intelligence and data, excess capacity, tracking trade and investment measures, climate and growth, among others. In 2019, she launched the Business for Inclusive Growth (B4IG) platform, endorsed by the French G7 Presidency, bringing together 40 major multinational companies committed to reducing inequalities. She has championed the OECD’s work to put people at the centre of policy-making through the provision of targeted policy advice in partnership with the European Union, the Inclusive Growth Initiative, and New Approaches to Economic Challenges (NAEC). She has advanced OECD work on gender equality, the well-being framework, and children. Most recently, she published a NAEC report entitled Systemic Thinking for Policy Making.
Marcelo Neri

Director of FGV Social and founder of the Center for Social Policies at the Getulio Vargas Foundation. He teaches at FGV EPGE. PhD in Economics, Princeton University. He writes regularly in scientific journals and in general magazines. He has been twice cited as one of the 100 most influential Brazilians by Época Magazine. He has edited ten books. Previously he was the Secretary-General of the Council of Economic and Social Development (CDES), President of the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea) and Minister of Strategic Affairs. He has evaluated policies in more than a dozen countries and also designed and implemented policies at three government levels in Brazil.
Mark Pearson

Deputy Director of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, OECD

Mark Pearson is Deputy Director of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Prior to 2014, he was Head of the Health Division where he helped countries to improve their health systems by providing internationally comparable data, state-of-the-art analysis and appropriate policy recommendations on a wide range of health policies. Major current work of the Division is on the economics of preventing obesity; comparisons of the prices of health care goods and services; assessing long-term care policies; trends in health spending; expanding health coverage; co-ordination of care; pay-for-performance; use of evidence in health care; the migration of the health-care workforce; health care quality indicators; measuring health care outcomes, outputs and inputs; and health and ICTs. Key publications resulting from the work he has managed include OECD Health at a Glance and Achieving Better Value for Money in Health Care, as well as The Economics of Prevention: Fit not Fat. Before moving to Paris, he was employed by the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London, and he has been a consultant for the World Bank, the IMF and the European Commission.
Pascal Saint-Amans

Director, Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, OECD

Pascal Saint-Amans took on his duties as Director of the Center for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD on 1 February 2012. Mr. Saint-Amans, a French national, joined the OECD in September 2007 as Head of the International Co-operation and Tax Competition Division in the CTPA. He played a key role in the advancement of the OECD tax transparency agenda in the context of the G20. In October 2009 he was appointed Head of the Global Forum Division, created to service the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, a programme with the participation of over 100 countries. Mr. Saint-Amans graduated from the National School of Administration (ENA) in 1996, and was an official in the French Ministry for Finance for nearly a decade. He held various positions within the Treasury, including heading the supervision of the EU work on direct taxes and overseeing legislation and policy on wealth tax and mergers and spin offs. He was also the head of tax treaty negotiations and mutual agreement procedures. In this capacity, he participated in the OECD Working Party No. 1 of the Committee on Fiscal Affairs as the delegate for France before being elected Chair of WP1 in 2005. He was also a member of the UN Group of Experts on International Co-operation in Tax Matters, becoming a “rapporteur” in 2006. Before leaving government service, he was Deputy Director in charge of litigation at the Direction Générale des Impôts. Mr. Saint-Amans also served as Financial Director of the Energy Regulation Committee between 1999 and 2002 and was responsible for the introduction of new electricity tariffs. Having earned a degree in history, Mr. Saint-Amans also received a degree from the Institut d’études politiques of Paris.

I have been working as thought leader and program director in the area of longevity, retirement preparations, and inclusion and diversity. My key area of interest is exploring opportunities for the 100 Year Life so that we can continue to life our lives with a sense of financial security and purpose into ripe old age. I led the Aegon Retirement Readiness Survey for six years under the theme of creating a New Social Contract where the focus has been on building solidarity between stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that are inclusive of vulnerable groups where no one is left behind.

I also have a strong interest in inclusion and diversity and in that regard founded our company’s LGBT Employee Resource Group with chapters in the Netherlands, U.S., and U.K.

Jacques van den Broek is the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Randstad, the global leader in HR services industry. After graduating in law, Jacques held a management position with an international trading company until he joined Randstad as a branch manager. Denis Machuel became Chief Executive Officer of Sodexo in January 2018. His vision is aligned with that of Sodexo’s founder, Pierre Bellon; growth, intrapreneurship and humanity remain the core principles that guide our company’s future and unite our employees. Denis joined the company in 2007. He was appointed CEO of Sodexo Benefits & Rewards worldwide in 2012. His scope was broadened to include a new cross-functional role, he became Sodexo’s first Chief Digital Officer in 2015. In 2016, he then also took on the additional role of CEO of Personal and Home Services. Denis ensures that Sodexo’s development supports economic growth that is based on the sustainable use of resources and valuing our shared humanity. He is personally invested in Sodexo’s efforts to fight against food waste and combat social and economic inequality. He holds an engineering degree from L’Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and l’Ecole Supérieure de l’Electricité (SUPELEC France). Hichem ELLOUMI joined ELLOUMI Group in 1977 where he held several strategic positions such as Leading Operations, Leading distribution and electrical contracting. In 1992 Hichem ELLOUMI founded COFICAB Tunisia, a company based in Tunis specialized in the manufacturing and sales of automotive electrical cables and wires. Since 1992, he is the CEO and Chairman of COFICAB Group, today a world Leader in the automotive wire and cable industry. From November 2006 until February 2013, he held the position of President of the National Federation of Electricity and Electronics. (FEDELEC). Since January 2013, he is the Vice President of UTICA (Tunisian Employers Organization).
