About James Robson
James Robson is Deputy Director of Oxford University’s Centre for Skills, Knowledge, and Organisational Performance (SKOPE). His research focuses on structures, policies and political economies of Higher, Tertiary and Adult Education systems with a particular focus on the intersection between education and employment, skills supply and demand, research eco-systems, and social justice. Recent projects have focused on narrative skills in business contexts, reconceptualising the value of humanities degrees, global science eco-systems, and widening participation in elite HE. He has received major research funding from the ESRC, the AHRC, GCRF, the Edge Foundation, the Royal Society, and the British Academy.
