About Isabel Barquin
Born in Mexico and now based in Madrid, Isabel Barquin is part of the Government Affairs team at Salesforce where she works towards fostering trust, innovation, equality, and diversity in the digital realm.
She graduated from International Relations at IE University, completed a semester in Japan, and earned a Master’s degree in Geopolitics at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. During her studies, Isabel worked at the Mexican Embassies of India and Spain.
She began her career in the OECD's Public Affairs and Communications Directorate (PAC), where she supported the development of strategic partnerships with companies, international organizations, government agencies, and research institutions to feed innovative policy discussions.
Since 2021 she is at Salesforce, on the Government Affairs & Public Policy team, which is responsible for building trustworthy relationships with governments and stakeholders, as well as advocating for policies that support Salesforce’s five core values: trust, customer success, innovation, equality, and sustainability.
