Bradley Schurman is Founder and CEO of The Super Age – a global strategic research and advisory firm helping public and private organizations understand the challenges and harness the opportunities of demographic change, with a focus on population aging. The Super Age works to ensure that these subjects are considered across organizational strategies from human resources, marketing and communication, public policies, and product and service design. Schurman is also the author of the forthcoming book, The Super Age: How Longer Lifespans Are Changing Everything We Know About Work, Life and Learning, which will examine how this shift is driving social and economic change around the world. It will be published by HarperCollins. Prior to launching his company and authoring the book, Schurman was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of EconomyFour, where he led business development in Asia and Europe. He also served at AARP – the world’s largest organization dedicated to improving the lives of older people – where he was Director of Global Partnerships and Engagements. Schurman was instrumental in securing the topics of aging and longevity as focus areas at both the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and World Economic Forum (WEF). He was also responsible for visioning and executing the Aging Readiness and Competitiveness Report – a groundbreaking collaborative research project between AARP and Foreign Policy Group. Schurman has been featured on NBC's TODAY Show and quoted in the New York Times, HuffingtonPost, and USA Today, as well as in local and national media outlets around the world. He speaks regularly at thought leader forums, and has advised national governments and major businesses on their longevity strategies.
Michael W. Hodin, Ph.D. is CEO of the Global Coalition on Aging, Managing Partner at High Lantern Group, and a Fellow at Oxford University’s Harris Manchester College. He has spoken internationally on the topic of aging, including at G20, APEC, Davos, and the World Knowledge Forum (WKF). He is also a blogger on Medium.
From 1976-80, Mike was Legislative Assistant to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. During this period he was also a Visiting Scholar at Brookings Institution, on U.S. Foreign Economic Policy. He was a senior executive at Pfizer, Inc. for 30 years, where he created and then led its International Public Affairs and Public Policy operations and served on Management Boards for a number of its businesses.
Mike is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and from 2010-2013, was Adjunct Senior Fellow with a focus on population aging. In 2013, Mike was invited by then-Committee Chairman Bill Nelson (D-FL) to lead a Members’ Roundtable with the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging. Mike was also the recipient of the 2012 Fred D. Thompson Award from the American Federation for Aging Research. He sits on the Boards of the Foreign Policy Association, Business Council for International Understanding, NYC Blood Center, American Skin Association, American Federation for Aging Research and Emigrant Savings Bank, where he is Chairman of its compensation committee. Mike was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Ageing. And he sits on the Advisory Board for the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging.
Mike holds a BA, cum laude, Cornell University, M.Sc.in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and M.Phil and Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
Nanjira Sambuli is a researcher, policy analyst, and strategist interested in and working on understanding the unfolding, gendered impacts of ICT adoption on governance, media, entrepreneurship and culture.
Nanjira is a commissioner on the Lancet & Financial Times Global Commission (Governing Health Futures 2030), president and co-chair of the Transform Health Coalition, a board member at The New Humanitarian, Development Gateway, and Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL). She is also a Ford Global Fellow.
Nanjira also sits on several advisory boards, including the World Economic Forum’s Technology and Social Justice Initiatives, <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms, and the Carnegie Council’s AI and Equality Initiative. Additionally, she is a diplomacy moderator at the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA).
Ira Rheingold is Executive Director and General Counsel of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), an organization dedicated to protecting consumers from unfair and deceptive business practices. At NACA, Mr. Rheingold has testified before both Houses of Congress on various mortgage lending and consumer finance issues, offered commentary before federal agencies charged with regulating financial service industries and protecting consumers, and helped draft amicus briefs on issues of vital concern to consumers before the nation’s highest courts. While at NACA, Mr. Rheingold also managed the Institute for Foreclosure Legal Assistance, a joint project of NACA and the Center for Responsible Lending. Mr. Rheingold previously served as the co-chair of the Financial Services Committee of the Trans-Atlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD) and is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Responsible Lending (CRL), and Board Member of the Montgomery County Maryland Consumer Protection Commission. He is also an active pro-bono attorney for the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.
Mike is the CEO of ProAge. He is a seasoned thought leader on the topics of longevity, age-inclusion and multigenerational workplaces.

The focus of Mike’s thought leadership work has been on building solidarity between stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that are inclusive of vulnerable groups where no one is left behind.
Mike has been responsible for the establishment of the Aegon Center for Longevity and Retirement, a collaboration of experts assembled by Aegon with representation from Europe, the Americas, and Asia. While working at Aegon, Mike authored and published 13 reports on retirement security with insights and recommendations for governments, employers and individuals internationally. He also developed and piloted the Silver Starters program to help people age 50+ understand if entrepreneurship is something for them and help them start their own business.
Mike worked at Aegon for 18 years, previously holding roles as Sustainability Officer and Group Internal Auditor. Prior to working for Aegon, Mike worked for PwC and Wells Fargo Bank. Pro bono has included workshops for BraveStarts, and a volunteer for a local animal shelter.

After participating in the creation and development of Neoen, which has become one of the main independent producers of renewable electricity in Europe (solar photovoltaic, wind power), he became interested in the heating sector dearbonanisation challenges, being the main source of energy consumption in the world and still dependent on fossil fuels for more than 80%. Aware of the need to provide new solutions, in 2015 he co-founded Newheat, of which he is currently Chairman, with the ambition of becoming the leader in solar heat supply as well as a bold and innovative player in the energy transition.
