Nanjira Sambuli is a researcher, policy analyst, and strategist interested in and working on understanding the unfolding, gendered impacts of ICT adoption on governance, media, entrepreneurship and culture.

Nanjira is a commissioner on the Lancet & Financial Times Global Commission (Governing Health Futures 2030), president and co-chair of the Transform Health Coalition, a board member at The New Humanitarian, Development Gateway, and Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL). She is also a Ford Global Fellow.

Nanjira also sits on several advisory boards, including the World Economic Forum’s Technology and Social Justice Initiatives <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms, and the Carnegie Council’s AI and Equality Initiative. Additionally, she is a diplomacy moderator at the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA).  

Isabelle Chopin

MPG’s Director since 2016, Isabelle joined MPG at its inception in 1995. She was the Director of the Starting Line Group campaign that led to the adoption in 2000 of the two European anti-discrimination directives (Council Directives 2000/43/EC and 2000/78/EC). She has led many trainings and projects in the fields of non-discrimination, citizenship, hate speech, data collection and integration. Isabelle is a French lawyer specialised in anti-discrimination law and is also the Specialist Coordinator in non-discrimination law of the European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination.

Mike is the CEO of ProAge. He is a seasoned thought leader on the topics of longevity, age-inclusion and multigenerational workplaces. ProAge is a UK charity dedicated to creating age-inclusive workplaces and high-performing multigenerational teams. The focus of Mike’s thought leadership work has been on building solidarity between stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that are inclusive of vulnerable groups where no one is left behind. Mike has been responsible for the establishment of the Aegon Center for Longevity and Retirement, a collaboration of experts assembled by Aegon with representation from Europe, the Americas, and Asia. While working at Aegon, Mike authored and published 13 reports on retirement security with insights and recommendations for governments, employers and individuals internationally. He also developed and piloted the Silver Starters program to help people age 50+ understand if entrepreneurship is something for them and help them start their own business. Mike worked at Aegon for 18 years, previously holding roles as Sustainability Officer and Group Internal Auditor. Prior to working for Aegon, Mike worked for PwC and Wells Fargo Bank. Pro bono has included workshops for BraveStarts, and a volunteer for a local animal shelter. Mike is based in Amsterdam, is originally from Dublin, Ireland and has worked in San Francisco, USA
Andreas Schleicher

Director, Education and Skills, OECD

Andreas Schleicher is Director for Education and Skills, and Special Advisor on Education Policy to the Secretary-General at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. As a key member of the OECD Senior Management team, Mr. Schleicher supports the Secretary-General’s strategy to produce analysis and policy advice that advances economic growth and social progress. He promotes the work of the Directorate for Education and Skills on a global stage and fosters co-operation both within and outside the OECD. In addition to policy and country reviews, the work of the Directorate includes the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), the OECD Survey of Adult Skills (PIAAC), the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), and the development and analysis of benchmarks on the performance of education systems (INES). Before joining the OECD, Mr. Schleicher was Director for Analysis at the International Association for Educational Achievement (IEA). He studied Physics in Germany and received a degree in Mathematics and Statistics in Australia. He is the recipient of numerous honours and awards, including the “Theodor Heuss” prize, awarded in the name of the first president of the Federal Republic of Germany for “exemplary democratic engagement”. He holds an honorary Professorship at the University of Heidelberg.
Elisabeth Wiklander

Cellist and Neurodiversity Advocate, London Philharmonic Orchestra

Prize-winning cellist Elisabeth Wiklander is a member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. She also holds a teacher position at Ljungskile Folkhögskola in her native Sweden and has taught orchestral performance at conservatories in Amsterdam, London and New York. Elisabeth is autistic and a Neurodiversity Advocate, appointed Cultural Ambassador for the National Autistic Society in the UK. She recorded music for the award-winning film “The Reason I Jump” and is engaged in Neurodiversity projects worldwide as a speaker and advisor. Media appearances include a TEDx talk, The Daily Politics Show (BBC live) and several programmes and documentaries for Swedish Television.

Fatih Yilmaz

Theodoros P. Dimopoulos

Scientific Associate - Ph.D. Candidate, Hellenic Parliament - University of Thessaly

Till January 2015, I have worked as a Social Worker at the National Health Operations Center, Greek Ministry of Health. In 2014 I have accomplished my MSc studies in Health Economics & Management. At the moment I'm enrolling my PhD on Thermal, Wellness Tourism and Rehabilitation aspiring to elaborate on the barriers and perspectives regarding the relevant industry in Fthiotida Regional Unity. 

Prior to that I have worked as a Social Worker at the European Cultural & Research Center of Athens in collaboration with Municipalities of Zografos and Kessariani, while in the past I have worked either as a Social Worker, or as an Administrative officer in several private Healthcare Units/Long term care units, such as Polyclinic Group, etc.

As of 2012 and according to a Ministerial mandate I was appointed as a Board Member of Interconnected General Hospitals of Lamia - Amfissa - Karpenisi, keeping this position for approximately one and a half year.

As of October 2016 till November 2019 I have been appointed by the Minister of Labor, Social Insurance & Social Solidarity as the Head of the Board of Directors at the Social Welfare Center of the Region of Central Greece (Public Law Legal Entity - Governmental Organisation) which is the main regional-level social care provision services cluster, trying to contribute to the implementation of the Greek Government's strategic plan on social care, foster care, "DI", family care and people with special needs protection.

In parrallel, between the the same period I have been an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of the first National Adoption & Foster-care Council in accordance to the relevant Ministerial Desicion.

I have also been an elected Member of the BoD at the Hellenic Healthcare Services Association, carrying duties of the Chief Communications Officer, as of 2017 I am a Member of the European Commission’s SCHEER Committee on Rapid Risk Assessment of Healthcare and Environmental Risks, participating in annual in person one-day/two-day external experts' meetings with focus on public health risks assessment, while as of November 2021 till June 2022 one of the 60 delegates of the European Health Parliament's 7th Edition working as a Member of the Sustainable Health Systems Commitee.

Finally, my current professional capacity is linked to the Hellenic Parliament's function, as I'm an MP's Scientific Associate, providing assistance regarding daily institutional obligations, parliamentary control and cognate activities.

Andrea works actively in product/service development, working on solutions that are focused on the final users (citizens & visitors) with methodologies as Design Thinking & co-creation, developing solutions that are directly based on the social & cultural needs. /// Antonio J. Jara (CEO), founder of HOP Ubiquitous S.L. (www.hopu.eu), and chair of Data Quality and IoT in IEEE. He did his PhD (Cum Laude) at the University of Murcia (UMU), Spain. These PhD results present a novel way to connect objects to Internet-enabled platforms in an easy, secure and scalable way. He also carried out a MBA and entrepreneurship formation in the ENAE business school and UCAM (2012). He received entrepreneurship awards from ENAE (sponsored by SabadellCAM financial services), emprendeGo (sponsored by Spanish government), IPSO Alliance Award (Sponsored by Google) for its disruptive innovation in the IoT, selected and mentored by the acceleration program FIWARE. Antonio Jara as part of HOPU is focused on the Smart Cities market with solutions for citizens engagements and environmental monitoring (air quality sensors). Antonio Jara has also participated in over 100 international events about Internet of Things as Speaker, over 100 international publications / papers (~5000 citations and impact factor h=37), he holds several patents in the IoT domain and finally he has advised in the IoT domain to companies such as Microsoft and Fujitsu.
Vincent F. Hendricks

Professor of Formal Philosophy; Director of Center for Information and Bubble Studies, University of Copenhagen

Vincent F. Hendricks is Professor of Formal Philosophy at The University of Copenhagen. He is Director of the Center for Information and Bubble Studies (CIBS) funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. Hendricks is the author of multiple books on logic, methodology, formal epistemology, attention economics, information theory and bubble studies and has been was awarded a number of prizes for his research among them The Elite Research Prize by the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, The Roskilde Festival Elite Research Prize, Choice Magazine Outstanding Academic Title Award and The Rosenkjær Prize. He was Editor-in-Chief of Synthese: An International Journal for Epistemology, Methodology and Philosophy of Science between 2005-2015.
