Grzegorz Nocko

Dr. Grzegorz Nocko has been working for the Hertie Foundation since 2007. He currently heads the Berlin office of the foundation and its interdisciplinary fellows programme. The foundation has two funding priorities: strengthening neuroscience and democracy. Before joining the Hertie Foundation, he worked in the field of political education for the Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg of the Robert Bosch Foundation. He studied German philology in Poznan, Mainz and Berlin and earned his doctorate in education at the TU Berlin. His work focuses on: Europe, digitisation, adult education and civic education, integration and migration, international networks, corporate strategy and communication. Till January 2015, I have worked as a Social Worker at the National Health Operations Center, Greek Ministry of Health. In 2014 I have accomplished my MSc studies in Health Economics & Management. At the moment I'm enrolling my PhD on Thermal, Wellness Tourism and Rehabilitation aspiring to elaborate on the barriers and perspectives regarding the relevant industry in Fthiotida Regional Unity.  Prior to that I have worked as a Social Worker at the European Cultural & Research Center of Athens in collaboration with Municipalities of Zografos and Kessariani, while in the past I have worked either as a Social Worker, or as an Administrative officer in several private Healthcare Units/Long term care units, such as Polyclinic Group, etc. As of 2012 and according to a Ministerial mandate I was appointed as a Board Member of Interconnected General Hospitals of Lamia - Amfissa - Karpenisi, keeping this position for approximately one and a half year. As of October 2016 till November 2019 I have been appointed by the Minister of Labor, Social Insurance & Social Solidarity as the Head of the Board of Directors at the Social Welfare Center of the Region of Central Greece (Public Law Legal Entity - Governmental Organisation) which is the main regional-level social care provision services cluster, trying to contribute to the implementation of the Greek Government's strategic plan on social care, foster care, "DI", family care and people with special needs protection. In parrallel, between the the same period I have been an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of the first National Adoption & Foster-care Council in accordance to the relevant Ministerial Desicion. I have also been an elected Member of the BoD at the Hellenic Healthcare Services Association, carrying duties of the Chief Communications Officer, as of 2017 I am a Member of the European Commission’s SCHEER Committee on Rapid Risk Assessment of Healthcare and Environmental Risks, participating in annual in person one-day/two-day external experts' meetings with focus on public health risks assessment, while as of November 2021 till June 2022 one of the 60 delegates of the European Health Parliament's 7th Edition working as a Member of the Sustainable Health Systems Commitee. Finally, my current professional capacity is linked to the Hellenic Parliament's function, as I'm an MP's Scientific Associate, providing assistance regarding daily institutional obligations, parliamentary control and cognate activities.

Tracey Burns

Tracey Burns is a Senior Analyst in the OECD's Centre for Educational Research and Innovation. She heads a portfolio of projects including Innovative Teaching for Effective Learning, 21st Century Children, and Trends Shaping Education. Until recently she was also responsible for their work on Governing Complex Education systems. Previous to her time at the OECD she worked on social determinants of health and well-being. As a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The University of British Colombia, Dr. Burns led a research team investigating newborn infants' responses to language, and was an award-winning lecturer on infant and child development. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honours, including The University of British Colombia Post-Doctoral Fellowship and the American Psychological Association Dissertation Research Awards. Tracey holds a B.A. from McGill University, Canada, and an M.A. and Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from Northeastern University, USA.

Willemien Bax

Willemien Bax is Head of the OECD Forum, she has over 30 years of experience in working with governments, as well as non-governmental organisations and the private sector. Prior to joining the OECD, Willemien worked with the European Consumers Organisation (BEUC) where she oversaw BEUC’s public affairs and media relations strategies in a number of public policy areas ranging from transparency and governance to food, environment, health, economic and legal affairs. She managed a training programme financed by the European Commission, for all consumer organisations in the EU, as well as potential EU-candidate countries. The training focused on giving consumer organisations the tools to develop effective public affairs and communication strategies. In  her capacity as European Chair of the Trans Atlantic Consumer Dialogue, she contributed to debates on major international public policy issues such as financial regulation, innovation and energy efficiency.
Nanjira Sambuli

Nanjira Sambuli is a researcher, policy analyst, and strategist interested in and working on understanding the unfolding, gendered impacts of ICT adoption on governance, media, entrepreneurship and culture. Nanjira is a commissioner on the Lancet & Financial Times Global Commission (Governing Health Futures 2030), president and co-chair of the Transform Health Coalition, a board member at The New Humanitarian, Development Gateway, and Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL). She is also a Ford Global Fellow. Susanna Moorehead & Jorge Moreira da Silva

Susanna Moorehead is the elected Chair of the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and took up her role in February 2019. Before then, she was British Ambassador to Ethiopia and Djibouti and UK Permanent Representative to the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Over a 30 year career in international diplomacy and development, Susanna has held senior executive, strategic, policy and operational roles - from the Board of the World Bank to famine relief in rural Africa. Susanna served as the UK’s Executive Director on the Board of the World Bank; was Director of West and Southern Africa at the UK Department for International Development (DFID); and Head of DFID India, when it was the UK’s largest development programme. She directed field-based famine and rehabilitation programmes in rural Mali for Save the Children and was Deputy Director of the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex until 1997. // Mr. Moreira da Silva is since 1st November 2016 the Director of the Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD) at OECD. As Director of the Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD), Mr. Moreira da Silva plays a key role in positioning the OECD’s work on development co-operation at the leading edge. He supports the work of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and collaborates closely with other components of the OECD's Development Cluster to strengthen the Organisation’s contribution to the international governance architecture, as well as to OECD-wide initiatives such as NAEC, Inclusive Growth, and work in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Before joining OECD, Mr. Moreira da Silva held senior political roles as Portugal’s Minister of Environment, Energy and Spatial Planning; Secretary of State for Science and Higher Education; Secretary of State for Environment and Spatial Planning; Member of the Portuguese Parliament; and Member of the European Parliament (where he authored the Report and the political agreement on the EU GHG Emissions Trading Directive in 2003). He also served as Senior Environmental Finance Advisor at UNDP.
Enrique Medina Malo

Enrique graduated from Santa Maria del Pilar School, in Madrid (1990). He holds a law degree from Carlos III University of Madrid (1994) and was admitted to the Spanish Government Legal Services in 1997 (Abogado del Estado). He joined Telefónica Legal department in 2006 as Head of Public Law and later Head of Telecommunications and Information Society Legal Affairs, being responsible for Regulation and Competition legal issues. From 2002 to 2004, he served as General Director for Legislation (Secretario General Técnico) of the Ministry of Science & Technology. He was Chief Legal Officer of the Spanish Broadcasting Corporation RTVE from 2004-2006.
