Cevat Giray Aksoy is a Principal Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and Assistant Professor of Economics at King’s College London, Department of Political Economy. He is also a Research Fellow at London School of Economics and Research Associate at IZA Institute of Labor Economics. His current research focuses on forced migration (effects on host communities and self-selection of refugees), the political economy of trust (confidence in leaders and governments, civic values, and attitudes towards democratic institutions) and economic inclusion (earnings inequalities and access to banking services). His research has been covered by over 80 media outlets, including BBC, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, Harvard Business Review, Mirror, Reuters, The Daily Mail, The Independent, The New York Times, The Telegraph, The Times, Quartz, Vox, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and World Economic Forum.

Barry Eichengreen is the George C. Pardee and Helen N. Pardee Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught since 1987. He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London, England). In 1997-98 he was Senior Policy Advisor at the International Monetary Fund. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (class of 1997). Professor Eichengreen is the convener of the Bellagio Group of academics and economic officials and chair of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Peterson Institute of International Economics. He has held Guggenheim and Fulbright Fellowships and has been a fellow of the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (Palo Alto) and the Institute for Advanced Study (Berlin). He is a regular monthly columnist for Project Syndicate. 

Orkun Saka is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the City, University of London, a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Research Associate at the Systemic Risk Centre and STICERD as well as a Research Affiliate at the CESifo network. He has previously visited and worked for several policy institutions including the Bank of Finland, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. His academic papers have been published in some of the world-leading journals in economics and finance, such as The Economic Journal and Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. His main research interests are in financial intermediation, international finance and political economy.
