Raymond combines the roles of Senior Policy Manager for Health Inequalities and EPHA’s Communications Coordinator. The work on health inequalities revolves around the development and implementation of EPHA’s Health Inequalities advocacy strategy. By working together with EPHA members and key stakeholders, the goal is to bring about (policy) change for the people who are left behind. Simultaneously, the Communications Coordination strengthens both the advocacy work across the policy clusters and the impact of EPHA as change agent and convenor of stakeholders. Raymond holds a BSc degree in Biology and an MSc degree in Nutrition & Health, and has previous experience in science communication at EUFIC and science-based policy support at the EC Joint Research Centre. He enjoys spending his free time outside, preferably active and with the family; running, cycling, walking (often thinking how to do more on tackling climate change), playing football, and gardening.

EPHA is a change agent – Europe’s leading NGO alliance advocating for better health. We bring together the public health community to provide thought leadership and enable change; to build public health capacity to deliver equitable solutions to European public health challenges, such as air pollution, more affordable medicines, and the need for health-enabling food systems, to improve health and reduce health inequalities. As a member-led organisation, made up of public health NGOs, patient groups, health professionals and disease groups, we work with relevant policy and decision makers to strengthen the voice of public health in Europe.

Jacques van den Broek is the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Randstad, the global leader in HR services industry. After graduating in law, Jacques held a management position with an international trading company until he joined Randstad as a branch manager. Appointments followed as Regional Director in the Netherlands and, subsequently, as Marketing Director Randstad Europe. In 2002, he moved to Capac Inhouse Services as Managing Director, also taking on responsibility for Randstad in Denmark and Switzerland. Jacques van den Broek is responsible for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal, as well as Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay). In addition, he is responsible for Business Concept Development and Public Affairs.

Erika Mouynes is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama. She has also served as Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs and Cooperation and Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, under two administrations. In the private sector, Minister Mouynes has worked at a leading New York law firm and has also managed the business and legal affairs of a multi-billion dollar investment company in her role as Chief Legal Officer. She has also served on the board of several publicly traded companies, as well as woman-focused not-for-profit organizations. She is 43 years old and the mother of two young children.

Researcher of international renown, Carlos Moreno is Scientific director of the Chair "Entrepreneurship – Territory – Innovation", Panthéon Sorbonne University – IAE Paris (France). Carlos Moreno earned recognition as a scientist with an innovative mind, pioneer works and is unique approach on urban issues. He is also a scientific advisor of national and international figures of the highest level, including the Mayor of Paris Smart City special Envoy. He works at the heart of issues of international significance as a result of his research, ringing an innovative perspective on urban issues and offering solutions to the issues faced by the cities, metropolises and territories during the 21st century. Some of his concepts traveled the world: the Human Smart City, the 15mn City, the Territory of 30mn. Carlos Moreno received the Foresight Medal by the French Academy of Architecture (2019).
