Alexandra Aldea was born in Bucharest but has been living in Paris for many years now. She is a software engineer and has studied computer science in Politehnica University of Bucharest and Polytech’Nice in Sophia Antipolis.

She has been part of the Public Health team in the OECD's Health Division for the last five years, contributing to the developments of the microsimulation framework, modelling public health policies and the burden of various risk factors.

When she gets her head out of the computer, she tries to do some drawing and photography and go out in the lovely city of Paris.
