The Dutch Institute for Nature Education is a national organisation in the Netherlands. I was appointed to chair the board of the department in North Groningen province containing the largest local authority in the Netherlands by land area.

I am also a board director of Humanitas Midden Groningen. Humanitas is Europe’s largest humanist social work organisation. Midden Groningen is the largest local authority area in the province of Groningen. 

Prior to relocating from Oxford, United Kingdom to Groningen in the Netherlands I was appointed as a non political associate at the All Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia. I was also Co-opted to the Social Care Institute for Excellence steering group. I have previously been a UK charity trustee and a company director.

I am a Salzburg Global Fellow.
