About Valerie Frey
Valerie Frey is a senior economist in the OECD's Directorate for Employment, Labour, and Social Affairs. She leads the OECD's cross-national "Risks that Matter" survey (http://oe.cd/rtm) and is involved in the programme of work on the future of social protection. She also oversees various projects on gender equality, including the OECD’s repository of pay transparency policies for equal pay and projects on integrated service delivery to address intimate partner violence. Valerie previously worked as an adjunct professor in economics at Sciences Po, as a consultant in the World Bank's Public Sector Governance Group, and as a research associate at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University, where she earned a Ph.D.
