Paula Rochon is a geriatrician, senior scientist, and Founding Director of Women’s Age Lab at Women’s College Hospital. She is a professor and inaugural RTOERO Chair in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Toronto. She obtained her MD from McMaster and MPH from Harvard.  Dr. Rochon’s research focuses on the unique needs of older women, and promotes their health and wellness. She has contributed to our understanding of aging, equity, and its impact on patients and the healthcare system, highlighting the need to consider sex, gender and age in research so results are more relevant to older women and men.

Surbhi Kalia is the Strategy Lead of Women’s Age Lab – a centre focused on improving the health and wellbeing of older women, which is affiliated with the Women’s College Hospital. Surbhi engages in change initiatives in research, public policy, and advocacy in healthcare. Surbhi has received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Public Policy from the University of Toronto and the University of London respectively.

Paul Higgs is Professor of the Sociology of Ageing in the Division of Psychiatry at University College London. Dr Higgs edits the journal Social Theory and Health.  He is a Fellow of both the UK Academy of Social Sciences and the Gerontological Society of America.

Bradley Schurman

Founder and Author, The Super Age

Bradley Schurman is Founder and CEO of The Super Age – a global strategic research and advisory firm helping public and private organizations understand the challenges and harness the opportunities of demographic change, with a focus on population aging. The Super Age works to ensure that these subjects are considered across organizational strategies from human resources, marketing and communication, public policies, and product and service design. Schurman is also the author of the forthcoming book, The Super Age: How Longer Lifespans Are Changing Everything We Know About Work, Life and Learning, which will examine how this shift is driving social and economic change around the world. It will be published by HarperCollins. Prior to launching his company and authoring the book, Schurman was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of EconomyFour, where he led business development in Asia and Europe. He also served at AARP – the world’s largest organization dedicated to improving the lives of older people – where he was Director of Global Partnerships and Engagements. Schurman was instrumental in securing the topics of aging and longevity as focus areas at both the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and World Economic Forum (WEF). He was also responsible for visioning and executing the Aging Readiness and Competitiveness Report – a groundbreaking collaborative research project between AARP and Foreign Policy Group. Schurman has been featured on NBC's TODAY Show and quoted in the New York Times, HuffingtonPost, and USA Today, as well as in local and national media outlets around the world. He speaks regularly at thought leader forums, and has advised national governments and major businesses on their longevity strategies.

Monika Queisser

Monika Queisser is Senior Counsellor to the Director of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Directorate and the Head of Social Policy Division at the OECD, where she supervises and coordinates the work on social protection, social indicators, pensions, affordable housing, family and LGBTI policies. She has been working at the OECD since 1997. In 2007-8, she worked as an adviser to the OECD Secretary-General. Prior to joining the OECD, Ms. Queisser worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the pensions and insurance group in the Financial Sector Development Department. Her first employment was with the German Ifo Institute for economic research in Munich. Her professional experience also includes employment as a journalist at daily newspapers and broadcasting in Germany.
Ruth van Veelen

Assistant Professor in Social and Organizational Psychology, Utrecht University

Ruth van Veelen is Assistant Professor in Social and Organizational Psychology at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Her research focusses on diversity in organisations, and particularly how gender biases and stereotypes in masculine organizational cultures affect the professional development and career choices men and women. Ruth obtained her Ph.D entitled "Integrating I and We: Cognitive Routes to Social Identification" (cum laude) in 2013. From 2013-2016, she worked at University of Twente in the field of Human Resource Development. Since 2016 she is Assistant Professor in the Groups & Identity Lab at Utrecht University. Ruth obtained several grants for her work on professional identity development and career choices of STEM talents. Ruth’s research characterizes as theory-driven, empirical-based and with direct applied relevance to practice. To this end, in her research projects she collaborates with stakeholders in for example academia, high-tech and healthcare to jointly foster (gender) diversity and inclusion at work and in careers.
Willemien Bax

Willemien Bax is currently Head of the OECD Forum, the Organisation's largest annual public event. Ms Bax, a Dutch national, has over 20 years of experience in public affairs, working with governments, as well as non-governmental organisations and the private sector. Prior to joining the OECD, from 2001 to beginning 2010, Ms Bax worked with the European Consumers Organisation (BEUC) as Deputy Director-General where she oversaw BEUC’s public affairs and media relations strategies in a number of public policy areas ranging from transparency and governance to food, environment, health, economic and legal affairs. In 2004, she initiated a training programme financed by the European Commission, for all consumer organisations in the EU, as well as potential EU-candidate countries. The training focused on giving consumer organisations the tools to develop effective public affairs and communication strategies. In 2009, in her capacity as European Chair of the Trans Atlantic Consumer Dialogue, she contributed to debates on major international public policy issues such as financial regulation, innovation and energy efficiency.

Anna Byhovskaya is a senior policy advisor to the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC) covering innovation and technology policies, the digital economy and the Future of Work –including labour market and organisational change, frontier technologies and AI, and the platform economy. She also works in the context of the OECD Ministerial Council and Forum, as well as the G20 and G7 processes jointly with the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). Anna is a member of the OECD Going Digital Steering Group, the former OECD AI Expert Group and had set up the 1st & 2nd Trade Union Forum on Digitalisation and the Future of Work. Anna holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po and she was a PhD candidate at CNRS/CERI/Sciences Po. She has worked as a policy coordinator on the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) at the OECD and as a TV journalist in Paris and Berlin. The TUAC is the interface for trade unions with the OECD and its members, representing more than 58 million workers, as well as associate members in Brazil, Indonesia, the Russian Federation and South Africa.

Alex Wynaendts was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Aegon N.V. on April 23, 2008. Alex has spent over 30 years in international finance and insurance. Educated in France, he began his career with ABN AMRO bank in 1984, working in the bank’s private banking and investment banking operations in both Amsterdam and London. Prior to being appointed as CEO, Alex held a number of different positions at Aegon, beginning in 1997 in Group Business Development. In particular, he established and expanded Aegon’s presence in new markets in Asia such as China, India and Japan, as well as the fast-developing region of Central and Eastern Europe. Following his appointment as CEO, Alex led Aegon through the economic crisis, ensuring the company maintained its strong capital position. He has subsequently redefined Aegon’s strategy, putting its purpose of helping people to take responsibility for their financial future at the heart of the business. Central to this has been the digital transformation of the company, which has enabled it to better meet customers’ needs and engage with millions of new customers.
